1. Turn off the power
Before starting the test. You need to turn off the power first. If it is a pellet stove, in addition to turning off the power, you also need to turn off the gas valve that supplies oil to it.
2. Disassemble the motor
After turning off the power, first remove the panel or cover on the inner wall of the stove. Then find and check whether the pellet grill auger motor fuse damaged. If no problem is found, you can start disassembling the motor and disconnect the electrical beam connecting the motor and the device.
3. Connect the power supply
Before officially testing the function of the motor, you need to use an external power supply. Such as a battery or a voltage regulator to provide the correct and stable voltage to the auger feed motor.
