Under normal conditions, the average service life of a pellet stove auger feed motor is about 1 to 2 years. And the operation is quite stable. However, some motors are prone to some problems after long-term use. For example, noise, frequent blockage, etc. These problems can easily lead to uneven distribution of pellets in the stove and inconsistent temperatures. There are even problems such as smoke and carbon monoxide accumulation and grease leakage. Therefore, it is particularly important to test the auger motor regularly.
